Elements is a great place for a quick lunch, long discussions over great coffee, dinner & a lovely shisha on the outdoor terrace, or just to sit, marvel at the artwork & read a good book.
Even though it appears over-filled and cluttered, you quickly surrender to the creative & relaxing atmosphere... I could sit here for hours & just loose myself in animated conversation, colourful art & delightful delicatessen
(and have done so on many occasions)
The walls of the restaurant are full with fine artwork of 70 different artists from all over the world. They pride themselves on having the biggest art collection in the Gulf in a permanent, all-year-round art exhibition. Whilst you enjoy your food, you can inquire about specific painting and maybe even buy one to take home?
THE MENU: esoteric, healthy, unique fusion & innovative - offers anything from dim sum & Thai soups, sandwiches, grilled fish or meat, Spanish tapas, fresh sushi, crispy salads, pasta with original Italian sauces & desserts with a huge variety of great coffee to accompany it. You can create the main courses yourself, but choosing from a list of various sauces & side dishes.
They also have a great lunch buffet every day for only AED 35.-
(1 USD = 3.67 AED)
Then there's the music: some of the best I've heard in the numerous eateries of Dubai - a smart, stylish mix of trip-hop & funky house.
Seating includes indoors (chairs or comfy sofas) & a terrace (outdoors) where you can enjoy fabulous fruit-infused Sheesha (Arabic waterpipe).
All in all, I think it's a marvellous one-size-fits-all eating, drinking & sheesha-smoking destination!
Favorite Dish: My favourite is the grilled fish with fresh spinach sauce & grilled vegetables. But you can choose various types of fish, different sauces & numerous other side dishes... whatever tickles your fancy.
The risotto with saffron & mustard seeds was devine!
I wasn't too impressed by their pasta dishes, hot chocolate cake or fruit cake, but the coffees & freshly-baked crepes are excellent. The crepe go perfectly with a tall cappuccino or mochaccino. To complete a great visit, opt for a nice Mint Sheesha :-)
