Baruna Seafood: "Seafood street vendor" Street Food Tip by freshia

Street Food, Jakarta: 20 reviews and 10 photos

Like may street vendors, they're only open at night starting from 7pm.
They put the seafood fresh in a pot and you choose which one you want: they have fish, crabs, squibs, prawns and shells. You point which one you want, how many and how you want them cooked. You can have them grilled, steamed or cooked in oyster sauce, Padang sauce or sweet and sour sauce.
Then you sit on your table and a lady will come and ask what you want for drinks, and do you want rice and vegetables to come with your food

Favorite Dish: My favourite is: Kepiting saus tiram (Crabs in oyster sauce), grilled prawns and sambel lalap (fresh vegetables eaten with special chilly sauce)
