There are two monuments which you see immediately when you approach Stirling ; Stirling castle and the Wallace monument.

The tower is situated at a hill and offers a nice panorama.

So, if you do not like hills and stairs, don't bother. To get to the entrance, you need to climb some metres. Once you have entered the tower, you have many steps to go. (246)

Inside, you will find some rooms on different levels with exhibitions explaining Scotland's history and culture. And of course, you can buy Scottish souvenirs.

The tower rewards your exercise. From the tower you have a good view on the mountains, Stirling and its castle.

Address: Wallace monument, Stirling
Directions: Outside Stirling, about 2 - 2,5 miles away from the city.
