  Entrance at Edinburgh castle.

Scotland may be full of castles, however, this one is worth a visit. It offers good views and many historic buildings.

You can choose for a short guided tour. This tour lasts around 30 / 40 minutes and the guide will tell you the essential information. The information combined with good humor will make it a good choice.

However, when I wanted to buy entrance tickets, I had to wait for a security check. Buying the tickets itself only takes 1 or 2 minutes. Queueing up for a bagage check will take around 40 minutes.

But besides that, the castle is a good choice!
