Every August the Ventura County Fair at the Fairgrounds in Ventura is California’s Coolest Fair and the only Fair on the West Coast located directly on the beach, where ocean breezes keep it cool.

There are carnival rides to take your breath away and the midway where you can try your luck and win a oversized stuffed animal. Eat your way through the fair: Corn on the Cob, Hot dogs, Wurst, Cinnamon rolls, fudge, cotton candy, curly fries or Australian battered potatoes are to name a few.

Shop 'til you drop at the exhibition hall, you can buy jewelry, hot tubs, garden items, car wax or grandfather clocks, what ever you choose it will be a lot of fun.

If shopping is not your bag take in the garden exhibits, or tour the photography and home arts exhibits.

Admission to the Ventura County Fair cost $7 for adults,
$4 for kids and seniors.
