"Route 30 east from Lancaster..." Pennsylvania Things to Do Tip by MissLady

Pennsylvania Things to Do: 180 reviews and 404 photos

Route 30 east from Lancaster to Philly.
The old Lincoln Highway is a virtual postcard during the autumn. The leaves have changed and you see the Amish buggies(Think 'Witness'), harvested fields with cornstalks and pumpkin patches. Eventually you reach the best part of Pennsylvania, the Main Line. There is a college campus almost every five miles. Every one of them has stone buildings and scream 'This looks like something out of a movie'. As you pass the fine homes of old Philly money, you are always disappointed the the road isn't longer.
