Mount Rundle reaches up 2,948 metres it is just one of many mountains in the Canadian Rockies South Banff Range. Mount Rundle was named by John Palliser in 1858, he named it after the Reverend Robert Rundle who was one of the first Europeans to visit this area. One evening while visting downtown we were treated to a glorious sunset as the mountain shone with golden colours - proclaiming the beauty within.
