The Monte Solaro chair lift station is located in Anacapri, in Caposcuro street (near Piazza Vittoria). The facility allows you to go from Anacapri (286 metres above sea level) to the top of Monte Solaro (589 metres above sea level).
The facility, built in 1952 by engineer Uliscia, was totally renovated in 1998 and reopened in 1999. It has 156 seats and it takes 12 minutes to reach the top which offers wonderfully views over the island and the sea.
Open: March-October: 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. November-February: 10.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
