Apeldoorn Off The Beaten Path: 50 reviews and 186 photos
The ?Beekpark? is the smallest park in Apeldoorn.
Its current size, layout and design are the results of new developments in the whole area.
New apartments, a parking garage, shops, offices and the building of CODA (a combination between a museum and the public library) were built last years.
Now the Beekpark is a small but nice green spot surrounded by all these ?stones?. Most striking is the ?follie? in the middle of the park. This little building of glass and steel was made by a local artist: Tirza Verrips.
A lovely place to sit on one of the benches before exploring more of Apeldoorn.
Follie: mostly a little building without any practical use, with the only purpose to enjoy its spectators.
