Illa de la Disc˛rdia (formerly known as Manšana de Disc˛rdia), which means Block of Discord. ( Manzana means both "apple" and "block" in Spanish

This building is so beautiful that you cannot miss it ...according to some ...this architecture by Gaudi is based on the legend of St George and the Dragon. Can you see the texture and colour of the roof which looks like dragon scale ? And the pointed weapon of St George ..I mean the chimneyt . And of course the boney like structure scattered all over the building ...the unique architecture of the balcony etc. ( subsequent pic )

Casa Batllˇ, which was remodelled by GaudÝ in 1906. It became a legend of art and architecture for all time. and the First Floor (the former home of the Batllˇ family), the Attic and its famous chimneys are all open to visitors.
