Khushis: "Fantastic curries, especially the prawns and fish" Khushi's Tip by Debbie1

Khushi's, Edinburgh: 2 reviews and 0 photos

Khushis is an un- licensed restaurant ( I did see people with BYO wine) selling Pakistani style food at very reasonable prices. It is halal and is located on Potterow, just behind Nicholson street in the old city, just north of the Mosque, on the same side of the road. Nearest corner is Chambers Street.
The food tasted completely fantastic, the service was great and the bill, excluding drinks, came to 10 per head, a silly price for such good food in Edinburgh

Favorite Dish: The fish curry. Big hunks of fish in a coconut cream based sause, not too mild but not too chilli hot either, so the fish taste came through well, instead of being ruined by too much chilli.

Address: 26-30 Potterrow, Edinburgh EH8 9BT, Scotland
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: Any bus going South up Nicholson Street, get off after crossing North Bridge, the Royal Mile intersection, but before Tescos, then walk one block west to Potterrow. Just north of the Mosque, on the same, east, side of the road.
