"Butterfly watching" Khett Siem Reab Things to Do Tip by Tina-Perth
Khett Siem Reab Things to Do: 587 reviews and 1,492 photos
One thing that surprised me when I was at Angkor was the number of butterflies. There were so many that they even fluttered in front of the lens as we took pictures creating a flash of color in front of the picture.
If you love butterflies, then do yourself a favour and walk along the grassed areas. It would be lovely to have a picnic on the grass alongside the ruins with myriad butterflies fluttering around. If possible, organise some food for lunch and take something to sit on. Head to Angkor in the morning and take a break for lunch amongst the wildflowers and butterflies before continuing on in the afternoon.
You can't really tell from this picture, but there are probably at least a dozen butterflies in it.
