Anthony's Homeport - Shilshole Bay: "Brunch and Blue Hair" Anthony's Restaurant Tip by Sunshine64

  Anthony's - Shilshole
by Sunshine64

There are several Anthony's restaurants in and around the Seattle area. They specialize in local seafood and fresh items, and I've always been satisfied.

Anthony's Homeport - Shilshole Bay is located in Ballard, on Shilshole Bay, right next door to Ray's Boathouse. Both have excellent sunset dining.

Favorite Dish: Dining at Anthony's is not an inexpensive experience, but two overlooked dining times will allow you to enjoy the food and view at Anthony's without breaking your wallet.

Sunday Brunch - menu items range from $7.95 - $13.95, and come with coffee cake and a delicious plate of fresh fruit. They have traditional breakfast items (Eggs Benedict, Scrambles, Waffles, etc.), but also some seafood items - both in egg dishes, and as more lunch-type dishes.

Blue Hair Special - OK, so it's really called Sunset Dinners (aka early bird specials) - but in the summer, they're served WAY before the sun sets. These meals are offered Mon - Fri, 4:30 - 6:00 PM and consist of Appetizer, chowder or salad, main course and desert for a $16.95.

Address: 6135 Seaview Ave
Price Comparison: about average
Directions: Take Market Street trough old Ballard, go past the locks and continue for about another 1/2 mile. Anthony's (and Ray's) will be on your left, before you reach Shilshole Marina and Golden Gardens Beach.
Price: US$21-30
