  Birdsight of Los Gigantes
by Orkaena

The Limay river is the divisory line between the province of Neuquen and the province of Rio Negro, of course if you're in the Villa El Chocón and cross the river using the dam road you will be in Rio Negro looking the absolute solitude of the patagonic steppe.
The pebbles roads are rough and dangerous if you drive laid back so be careful, then if you follow the shoreline of the lake you'll be surprised by the wild geography of "Los Gigantes".
It is a geological formation emerging from the bottom of the Lake Ramos Mexia (the former canyon of the Limay river), well worth a visit despite the bad paths.
Take a look on the Travelogue "Los Gigantes"

Address: Patagonic steppe, he he....
Directions: From Villa El Chocón cross the dam and turn to your right driving in these pebbles path, at 8 kilometers there is "Los Gigantes".
