"Beverley Soaring Society " Beverley Sports & Outdoors Tip by keeweechic

The club is based just outside the Beverley township and provides trial flights and pilot training as well as adventure cross-country flying and racing. Trial flights are available most weekends from Friday to Sunday but booking is preferable. The club owns 3 x 2 seater gliders and 3 x 1 seater gliders as well as a tow plane. About 20 of the gliders are privately owned. The flights last about half an hour. The airstrip used to be an old WW2 airfield
