Asia Local Customs: 60 reviews and 65 photos

While touring around in Singapore, there are certain issues you need to take note.

That is, littering is not allowed in Singapore. Littering of any kind is subject up to approximately
(Singapore Dollar) $1000 fine for first offenders, and up to (Singapore Dollar) $2000 fine and a stint of
corrective work order cleaning a public place for repeat offenders. As an extension of the law against littering, the import and sale of chewing-gum is probited.

Besides Littering Prohibition, there's another issue you need to take note while touring around in Singapore. That is, Smoking in public buses, taxis(Cab), lifts, theatres, cinemas, government offices, air-conditioned centres is against the law. First offenders may be fined up to a maximum of
approximately (Singapore Dollar) $1000.
