Luggage and bags: Bring a back pack to hold your daily purchuses while stomping around Washington DC. That is the first thing we bought when we got there since we forgot ours!! It will also come in handy to carry your bottled water, tour books and bandages if you forgot your comfy shoes!!!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: When heading to Washington DC, be sure you have your most comfortable pair of shoes packed!!! If you go in the fall, pack a light and heavy jacket. The weather can change drastically from day to day. The first day we were there in September it was 86, the last day it was 71.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: During the summer months, sunblock is a must!! And if you forgot your comfortable shoes, bring bandages!!!!

Photo Equipment: Lots and lots of film and batteries!!

Miscellaneous: Make sure to bring a nice pocket sized map with you. You may not think you will need it at first, but you will! Trust me!
