"Extremely Loud!" Hotel Mozart Tip by clunker

Hotel Mozart, Brussels: 693 reviews and 7 photos

We wound up with a room on the third floor overlooking the small street below. Big mistake! It was a weekend, and after the nightclubs all closed, (about 5 am)the 24 hour fast food(Kebabs and such) places right below swelled with people. Between the noise of what had to be at least 100 drunken revelers, and the cars honking their horns at them trying to navigate the narrow cobblestone road, forget about trying to sleep. 7am sounded more like 5pm in Times Square on a Friday. We checked out that morning, because they had no rooms available towards the back of the hotel. Keep in mind, that this was in October, not July or August, and I am not what you may consider a light sleeper.
