Russia's cutural gift to the world has been immense and Moscow is a wonderful place to play homage to so many of the great figures of Russian the arts and science.

The Moscow Conservatorium has produced countless performers of world renown. Composers who lived and worked in Moscow include Tchaikovsky and Shostakovisch. The words Bolshoi and ballet are virtually interchangeable.

The list of names of the great writers who lived here include Checkov and Tolstoy, Gogol, Pushkin and Gorky, and many, many more. The University tower houses many tributes to great scientists and thinkers.

Many of the houses these people lived in are open to visitors and statues abound,
