"In Waikiki we stayed at the..." Honolulu Hotel Tip by flipinflix

In Waikiki we stayed at the Polynesian Hostel on Lemon Rd.- righ across the road from the Honolulu Zoo. It was cheap- about $38 USD for a private room with two beds. John, the manager who takes care of the place was extremely helpful and so nice. The rooms are basic with beds, shared shower in the rooms. The hammocks on the first floor are great to lounge around and read a book- eventhough the view is parked cars and a concrete wall. The location is on the west end of Waikiki Beach- more toward Diamond Head. It's 1 block from the beach and in walking distance from all the great restaurants and bigger, high-price hotels. Since we weren't planning to spend most of our time inside the room anyway, this place was great because it gave us the basics- bed, clean sheets, shower.

Unique Qualities: Internet. Parking. Shared lounge with cable TV and VCR.

Address: Polynesian Hostel Waikiki
Price Comparison: least expensive
