Columbus may be buried in the Cathedral of Seville. Upon his death he was buried in Santiago, Dominca Republic. After this became independant the remains were removed to Havana and then as the Spanish empire finally collapsed they were purportedly removed to Seville. Problem is that both Santiago and Havana still claim to have the actual remains. DNA tests are now being conducted on the Seville remains to determine if they are authentic.
