There are many parks and nature reserves to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Some examples:

Peatlands park - worth a visit. There is sometimes demonstrations on how turf/peat was extracted. Can also go for a tour around the park on a train.

Brackagh Moss nature reserve - Not many people know about this little place, but it is beautiful (see picture)

Clare Glen - Woodland and river.

Gosford Forest Park - Has coffee shop, caravan park

Directions: Brackagh Moss Nature Reserve - Brackagh Moss Road (Off Tandragee Road) Portadown.
