You have to plan what you are going to do before you get here. Look at the schedule to see what event is taking place when and where. The problem with the park is that the trails are not well marked out and not all of the staff speak English. Plus some of them just do not know. Sometimes you will not see staff and it is a guessing game as to where you want to go.

Try not to stay at the beach too long since you can go to the beach for free. However, I did like the water tubing.
Definitely try sea treking it is the best experience for non-divers and non-swimmers. You'll love it.

My friend did not like the underground river. She said there were too many people and many were beginners who kept hitting her with their fins. As a beginning swimmer this was just not for me at all.

The nightly performance is not to be missed. It is rather long though.

The horse show is not as good as the one in the bullring so skip that one. Paradise river should also be skipped its a long hike to and from a tiny boat where they cram you in.

The Mayan Village was real nice as well. We did not see them do any re-enactment but the way it was landscaped was beautiful.

La Cocina is the cheapest restaurant but the food was not all that appealing to me
