The archaeological museum in Florence exhibits an outstanding collection of Etruscan, Greek, Roman and Egyptian artifacts. The first floor contains a splendid series of Etruscan bronzes such as the "Chimera" (a mythical lion with a goat's head imposed on its body and a serpent for a tail) from the 4th century BC.
