This tiny little eatery in Connaught Place has been a personal favourite for the last 25 odd years. It has been at the butt end of many jokes - not the cleanest of the places, nor the most hygenic. But it does have a reputation for serving the best Chicken Curry in town. The board on the restaurant says that it was established in 1931.

Head upstairs if you want a bit more comfortable seating. Punjabi food in Delhi doesn't get any better than this. Be warned, the food is very rich (it is cooked in Ghee - clarified butter) and is nicely spiced :)

Favorite Dish: Try the Chicken curry or Keema (Mince Mutton) curry with some extra crisp Rotis, served with chopped onions sprinkled with a tangy masala and spicy mint chutney.
