1. Stain-glass window in Florence Cathedral
2. Allan inside Florence Cathedral

The pointed vaults and the arches that divide the three aisles inside the Cathedral are quite attractive. I was most impressed with the octagonal apse overhung by Brunelleschi's dome that is decorated with elegant frescos as well as the exquisite glass windows.

Also, the choir and the main altar are amazing. The
crucifix that hangs over the main altar is astounding. The old and new vestries are unique. The right one is the old one, and it has a portal surmounted by a lunette that contains a terracotta sculpture that is quite attractive. The new vestry is to the left, and it is closed in a bronze door.

I was especially attracted to the enchanting glass windows as well as the windows in the Chapels of the side aisles. To me, they appear to be masterpieces!

When we went inside, a service was in session so we had to be very quiet and respectful about taking photographs.
