Museum of World Culture, Göteborg: 3 reviews and 2 photos

The "Världskulturmuseet" did not exist when I grew up but is only a few years old. I was hoping to see it at my latest visit in town but looking at their homepage and talking to one of my best friends, I decided to skip it. It has no permanent exhibitions for children, only certain "story telling days" about different world cultures but that never matched our visit. My friend also said that she was disappointed but then again it HAS been terribly haussed up in Sweden before its opening so I think expectations were extremely high in this country of political correctness. Go there to form your own opinion as I have none other than that from a webpage. They have exhibitions on the HIV problem, indigenous peoples and other world issues. spirituality and world music to name a few. I WILL go there some day when not with a six-year-old.
