"Vigelandsmuseet" Oslo Things to Do Tip by bpwillet
Oslo Things to Do: 1,242 reviews and 2,527 photos
This is a museum devoted to the works of Vigeland and cover all works in plaster, granite, bronze, and marble. The exhibits even include some of his sketches and carvings. This was Vigeland?s studio that he negotiated with the city of Oslo by giving the city his current and any future works. IT was finished in the 1920?s and his varying styles can be identified through his various works. His ashes are also placed in the tower, apparently upon his request.
