I have said that food isn't always served between four walls of a restaurant and that some of the best food comes from street vendors. It is by that line of thinking that I put the tip on ice cream trucks under restaurants rather than local customs. American ice cream companies send ice cream trucks primarily to suburban neighbourhoods to lure the little nippers to get their folks to give them the money for an ice cream cone or an ice lolly on a hot summer afternoon, sometimes the parents are nippers at heart and buy themselves an icy treat. Oftentimes, these trucks have bells and music boxes to announce their presence.
Favorite Dish: I liked it when the snow cone truck passed through my neighbourhood when I was a little nipper. For those on the Left Bank, a snow cone is sweet syrup of numerous flavours poured over crushed or shaved ice. Now, an ice cream truck patrols the neighbourhoods from late May through to early September.
