Originally an old hay barn from the mid 1800s it now is a museum dedicated to the history of the cities buildings. The fire of 1624 devastated the old city of Oslo and Christian IV decided to move the city to the west of its old location and named it Christiania. The museum offers multimedia, models, and guides of old Kvadruturen and the buildings of old Oslo
