Göteborg Things to Do: 334 reviews and 562 photos

Every year in January-February some time, Göteborg hosts an international film festival and this is definately one of the things I miss most of all (apart from my friends of course) about not living here anymore. Some time after New Year, the catalogue of films is released in cinemas all over Sweden and then you can browse and decide what you want to try and get tickets for. Those you can then order if you live in Sweden (or see web page), otherwise you have to turn up at the cinema Draken which is the festival hub with lots of seminars and other film events as well even if the films are shown in various cinemas all over town. Draken is also worth going to if you want to try to change tickets with other people or sell your own etc. on their notice board throughout the festival. For more info on details, contact VT's Spader who is involved with the festival.

Address: Järntorget
Directions: Tram to Järntorget, close to the river.
