"Best... Before" Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano Tip by OttoMarzo

Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano, Rome: 60 reviews and 142 photos

"San Giovanni In Laterano" is absolutely my favourite church in Rome. Yes, if you watch it from outside it doesn't seem that beautiful, but as soon as you'll get inside you'll change your mind. And yes, "San Pietro" or "San Paolo" are bigger, but this one is simply the best. It was the Popes' building before "San Pietro" was built in 1506. Amazing, astonishing, don't miss it, whatever your religion or Church is.
