Buckingham Palace the official London residence of the Queen and you can visit the magnificent State Rooms. Open daily in summer.

If you don't have time to visit the palace just try to come and see the changing of the guards. It's so beautiful and worth the effort to come and see it. I had a wonderful time to see this and even though it was cloudy day with some rain we did see it.

Guard Mounting takes place in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace at 11.30 am, and lasts about 45 minutes. There is no Guard Mounting in very wet weather. During the autumn and winter, Guard Mounting takes place on alternate dates, but it is held daily during spring and summer.
