San Lorenzo: "Bombs & Books" Rome Nightlife Tip by OttoMarzo

Rome Nightlife: 258 reviews and 273 photos

San Lorenzo is a very famous area just by the main University (La Sapienza). It's been the one area of Rome that was bombed during the WW2. So the district is mostly populated by students and that's the place where you can find hundreds of different pubs, clubs, live music, restaurants, pizzerie, bars, coffee shops, tea rooms, kebab houses and so on. Prices are obviously very very good because students are not supposed to have a lot of money to waste. So just park your park at the Cemetery parking lot and walk, because on nighttime cars are not allowed do be driven in the district. Or even if you don't have, the area is very easy to reach by public transportation.
