PatPong: "Good Thai is usually a hard find in Manhatten" New York City Restaurant Tip by chodearm

I must admit, I despise CITYSEARCH and there BEST OF for every time I have taken their word I am usually leaving there suggestions unhappy. I guess my yearning is for taste, I'm a self proclaimed FOODIE, and it seems taste of food comes secongd in there ratings compared to HIP factor. PatPong was 9.6 on their scale. Low and behold I put in a reservation for 3 and took in the flavors. Upon arriving I started with trepidation due to the fact that Yukis mommas glass had a large fissure in it, the wine I truley wanted was out, and the atmosphere was lacking. Once the food arrived, smiles were hard to avoid. The food was great. As good as what you get for Thai in Queens and Brooklyn, until now, I only ate Thai east of the East River.

Favorite Dish: My Salmon hanging in some magnificent cocunut sauce had me yearning to be somewhere tropical.
