the menora: "a little bit of everything" Lausanne Restaurant Tip by mariacanadiana

Lausanne Restaurants: 48 reviews and 57 photos

although i realize this is a very common type restaurant in europe, to a canadian, it offers a little taste of everything. you can chose deli sandwiches, fresh fish, soft drinks, pasta, pizza, breads and desserts, cheese.... most everything you could be craving. all is served in a cafeteria style and you bring it to your choice of dining room -upstairs is a little bigger or the downstairs, more cave-like, smokers' room. a common meeting place for students and families and very inexpensive by vaudoise standards. sit-down or take-away!

Favorite Dish: the tartes aux fraises! mmmm... ou bien, les pains aux chocolats (rectangular-shaped croisants with chocolate inside)

Address: st. francois - get off the bus, walk toward belair
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Rating: 3
Theme: Buffet

Review Helpfulness: 2.5 out of 5 stars
