City Market Cafe: "Looking for Mister Goodbrunch?" Top 5 Page for this destination Milwaukee Restaurant Tip by yooperprof
Milwaukee Restaurants: 114 reviews and 130 photos
Seems like on Sunday morning everyone and their Aunt Sue want to have brunch in the city of Milwaukee. And so few places take reservations! My friends Pieter and Ellen met me for Sunday at the "City Market" in suburban Shorewood, the first burg immediately to the north of the city. This was a good place AND it was not terribly crowded. They emphasize soups and salads here, and their own fresh breads. There were also a number of evil-looking pastries in the display case which I successfully managed to ignore.
Favorite Dish: Chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, cream of potato soup
Address: 2205 E. Capitol Drive, Shorewood
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Price: less than US$10
