Jiddah Sea Port., Jiddah: 6 reviews and 6 photos

Favorite thing: Since the reign of King Abdul Aziz, Jeddah and its seaport underwent development. Its early activities were to handle ships carrying goods as well as large wooden boats which used to unload their shipments manually from the seaport up to the stores. During that period, a quay of 170 meters was constructed with a capacity of handling two ships simultaneously. Another quay was also constructed to handle ships of less than 100 meters long, and a quay for lighters was also constructed with 200 meters long.

In the photo control tower and lighthouse of the seaport, an advanced technology.

Address: South of Jiddah city.
Directions: Take Al-Malek Rd south.
