"Very safe city" Ferrara Warnings Or Dangers Tip by borraccetti

Ferrara Warnings and Dangers: 4 reviews and 1 photos

Living here, I can assure you that Ferrara is definitely a safe city. If you stay downtown, in the Castle area, or near Piazza Ariostea or Palazzo Diamanti you can basically walk alone at 3am at night without any fear.

Zones to avoid: definitely avoid staying near the train station, or in the north-western part of town (like, the western part of via Modena). Since you're a tourist here, I don't think you'd like to stay in the only unsafe part of town, do you?

So to sum it up again: you're perfectly safe within 1,5 km from the center, just avoid the train station at night (during the day it's fine, don't worry). Apart from that, enjoy your staying.
