Albert: "Get paid for drinking beer!" Prague Shopping Tip by RockTadgers

Not as large as Tesco, but not as cramped as your local Delvita. All your usual Czech brands with amusing names can be found here, aswell as a few from back home that sneak in somehow. Watch out for the meat counter - as usual, I don't think they check display-by-dates that often!
What to buy: Bottled beer. You'll pay silly money for a vast range of quality pivo, ranging from your standards such as Pilsner Urquell and Gambrinus, to more obscure labels.
Definitely consider doing it this way if you're in town for and extended stay - because if you bring your bottles back, they'll give you some money back to buy more beer with!
Budget travel just got cheaper...
What to pay: Between 8-15kc a bottle, depending on brew.
Address: Vinohradska, Praha 3
Directions: Hop off the metro at Zelivskeho or Flora, and you won't be far away.
