I looooooove driving up to 10,000 waves to have a massage, sauna, and soak in a private tub. I've done this alone, with a partner, and even with the whole extended family :)

The theme of this spa is Japanese - serene and simple. The tubs are outside, and look over the beauty of the surrounding mountains ... you can have food and drinks delivered to your tub - through a slot in the surrounding fence for privacy :)

They provide kimonos, towels, sandals, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair dryers, lockers and lockboxes. Bathing suits may be rented for $2.50 if needed. Suits are optional in all private tubs, and the communal tubs too; they are mandatory after 2000 in the communal tubs and for all aquatic massage treatments. The kimono sizing is generous .... even when I was at my largest, I could comfortably wear their sumo sized one with complete modesty :)

New Mexico residents receive a generous discount of 20% for the entire party, and this includes treatments! Check their website for discount blackout times/dates.

Address: 3451 Hyde Park Road
Directions: On the way to Santa Fe Ski area .... you'll see the dirt parking lot and well maintained signage on your left.
