This piece by Pietro Giacomo Porcelli was unveiled in 1913 by Lady Forrest and is said to be one of the city?s most controversial pieces of public art. Standing at 6 metres, the memorial is made up of a granite pedestal with the bronze bust of Maitland Brown (an explorer and politician) on the top.
