Argus is basically a liquor store and what beach community would be complete without one?

Logo-ed hats, snacks, convenience store items, ciggarettes, Lotto tickets as well as bait and tackle supplies are sold here. So whether you are staying up the street in a room or just come for a few hours of fishing this is the easiest place to go from the pier for supplies.

What to buy: Drinking alcohol is allowed on the beach in IB--one of the few beaches left in San Diego that does allow it--but glass containers are not allowed. Make sure you buy a plastic container for you liquor too!

Warning:

Drunkeness is also NOT allowed on the beach!

Now that we got that out of the way, one of the best features is that it is conveniently located if you need bait and tackle.

What to pay: You'll pay more than at the grocery store about four miles up the road and there is a 7/11 convenience store several blocks away, but it's the only one so close to the Pier. You might pay a bit more just because it is so convenient.

Address: SW Corner of Seacoast Drive & Evergreen Ave.
Theme: Food and Drink
