Cafe du Monde: "Being a tourist is fun!" New Orleans Restaurant Tip by travelingbunny

New Orleans Restaurants: 896 reviews and 877 photos

Yes, it's touristy. No, they don't serve anything but beignets and cafe. BUT you don't want anything besides beignets and cafe au lait -they're delicious! This is a very NOLA kind of place and the people watching potential is terrific. I've also heard that there is another location along the riverwalk that is smaller, but you are right on the river's edge.
