"Learning the history of the Statue of Liberty" Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island Tip by londonlover
Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island, New York City: 413 reviews and 682 photos
Our guided tour of the Statue included a look at the original torch that the lady used to hold in her hand, before it was replaced with the modern electric light. You can walk around the original torch, which has several panes of broken glass and looks appropriately weathered.
The ranger-led tour will also include an in-depth (and interesting!) look at the statue's history on the second floor inside the statue's pedestal.
Address: In the Hudson River
