Rum Runners: "Fun, Fun" Top 5 Page for this destination Wilmington Restaurant Tip by mocks

Wilmington Restaurants: 58 reviews and 42 photos

Rum Runners opened up last year. It's a pretty sizable place. The thing about it is that it's a dualing piano bar/restaurant. The guys who are playing are pretty fun to hear and watch and sometimes the waitresses get into the schtick. If you want to hear a song, you'll have to go up and tip the players, but you'll have to tip more than a few bucks to get them to play the tune. The food is substantial enough for a meal. One of the more odd things is that after 9pm, they start charging $5 to get in. I guess that's because of the bar or something. That's why I usually go around 6 or 7. Surprisingly, it gets packed on the weekends. When I say packed, I mean packed. People seem to love singing along with the Piano Man. lol.

Favorite Dish: Again, I usually get burger and fries. The fries are first rate. But, there are other items on the menu that you could probably enjoy.

Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: Same as Front Street Brewery because, well, it's just 2 doors down from it.
Price: less than US$10
Rating: 3
Theme: American

Review Helpfulness: 3.5 out of 5 stars
