This temple gateway runs slap up against the side of Thanon Charoen Krung and the leadup Soi to River Pier #4.

It looks like a double-sided, colourful reference to the importance of agriculture to the city life - and probably refers to a subtle bit of animism integrated into the rituals of the temple that sits on this sub soi.

It glistens in the sun, just like your shoulders will if you don't wear a sleeved shirt or slop on a dollop of sun cream.

Most temple complexes have nifty arch ways announcing they are there and set back a way from the street. This is one of the better designs (in my humble opinion of course).


This can be seen as part of the Urban Stroll around the area shown in the tip with the map, shown at the beginning of this section
