The Taff Trail is one of the newer long distance footpath in Wales. It is used by both walkers and cyclists for trips of varying lengths between Cardiff Bay in the south and Brecon in the north.

Between Cardiff Bay and Llandaff the trail follows the Taff embankment and crosses the Bute Park. All in all the trail covers a distance of 55 miles (88km).
