Actually this fruit came from India, the portuguese brought them from goa, and it addapted very well in our lands, nowadays everywhere in the city you can find JACA trees!;)

Good for candies, great as food. Jaca is quite popular among the locals!

My friend Mike from Canada...could see jaca closerly for the first time in his life!
