Bull Ring, Granada: 4 reviews and 12 photos
Whatever your thoughts are on bullfighting, this stadium looks quite impressive.
Granadas bull ring has existed through the centuries, on various sites. This stadium originates from the 1920's, but has more recently been renovated, to house restaurants on the ground floor, where the many local delicacies can be enjoyed.
Bull fighting takes place during certain festivals, and is still well attended, mainly by locals, who pay to see the famous toreadors.
On October 22nd I saw Bruce Springsteen play live at this venue - A Fantastic experience!
I got into the stadium early, so could see the layout of the bullring. I'm not sure how long the bullfights last, but I know that the stone steps aren't the most comfortable, when sitting for nearly 3 hours!
